UNTV CUP: A DECADE OF SPORTS AND CHARITY

The UNTV Cup season 10 officially opened on October 30, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Regular games are held at the Paco Arena in Manila City and the Novadeci Convention Center in Quezon City, with a live telecast on the UNTV Public Service Channel every Sunday and Thursday afternoon. Fourteen teams are competing for the championship title this season, equaling the most participants in the league.

Breaking tradition on opening day, the drawing lots are done, but the defending champion may or may not play. The opening day of this season also had two games instead of the usual one. The draw was done by the UNTV Cup commissioner, Atoy Co.

Fourteen squads are vying for the championship title of the season. There are 2 new teams (the Commission on Elections and the Department of Foreign Affairs) and 12 returning teams, including 5 tournament winners, led by the season 9 defending champions, the AFP Cavaliers.

The UNTV Cup Season 10 is the 2023–2024 season of the annual charity basketball league in the Philippines, the UNTV Cup. The tournament was organized by UNTV under the UNTV-37 Foundation, Inc., through its chair and chief executive officer of BMPI-UNTV, "Mr. Public Service" Kuya Daniel Razon.
